I am just asking as I really do not know what the going rate is, but when a dental costs over $500 I wonder.
I agree, $45 is concerning. Is this a humane center or a regular vet? I too would want pre-op bloodwork and would want to know their anesthesia protocol. $45 sounds low even for a humane society clinic. I paid around $350 for neuter, which is average. It's more in a major city.
