For example. PPL who show dogs. Bred puppys for there next show dog. They pick the dogs that match Conformation standards. With all the health checks.
So they match there dogs with other dogs. Then theres breeders who just pump out puppies and don't care if they match standard or not. All puppies are cute, They will sell them and make $$. Then theres ppl who just want puppies and if the see another Yorkie they will mate them to have puppies no health check or whatever. Then responsible ppl have there dogs altered and don't try to bred them. Basically theres ppl who do a good job and ppl who don't know how. But you rescued your dog enjoy her she will love you.
