I like it but for the car, you really do need a way to protect your dog from flying through the windshield, flying objects within the car or the airbag from killing her. I use a hardshell airline carrier seatbelted in place and use many stuffed toys inside it to soften the blow should he hit against it in a sudden stop or collision. I wish there were some soft of harness affixed inside it that would keep him from doing that in the little carrier but haven't found that yet. But he won't move forward much in that carrier and there is no way he can get hurt by flying objects such as cell phones, groceries such as 2 liter cokes or cans or by the airbag. But this little carrier seems really great for so many other things as long as the dog can't jump from it. Tibbe would bail right out of that the moment I bent forward a little unless I held him in.
