Hello, I am new to yorkie talk. I have a pup who is now 5 1/2 months old and the vet said he is safe to get neutered now.

They are only charging 45$ so I was surprised when they said he has to stay overnight. I have never had a dog who didn't come home the day of surgery.

Is this normal? I'm not feeling comfortable with leaving him there overnight because he may not be watched....

I'm starting to think maybe they are using a lower grade medicine which really knocks them out since it is so cheap!

What do you think? Time to switch vets?
