I wouldn't worry too much about Paula Deen. Society made her a multimillionaire and if she does her due diligence in making amends and her damage control is successful, society at large, though quick to point fingers, also often forgives the truly repentant celebrity fairly quickly and she'll probably get another fat contract to do a show on another network in time.
