I have a wiggler, too! Sometimes I leave the clippers on the coffee table, then when she falls asleep in my lap, I sneak in a couple of clips.
I only do a couple at a time because she get so upset! One here & there will get the job done eventually.
Another option would be to have it done at the vets. My vet only charges $7 to clip the nails.
