There are a couple of grand champions here on YT who measure in the 10 - 11 inch range. One of the exhibitors told me that the typical height of show Yorkies tends to vary by region. Some judges prefer shorter legs, others prefer longer. The Yorkies at Westminster tend to be taller.

So the norm is between 8-11 inches! I know they should be the same in length as their height.
