I got the impression that as longs as the male dog (3.2lb) is smaller than the female (3.7) then it was ok to breed. After reading a couple of blogs, I am terrified for my dog. I didn't know how risky and dangerous it was to breed dogs under 5lbs. Her parents were both around 4-5lb and the father's were small too. Is there steps I can take to ensure the best possible path until birth? maybe give it to the care of hospital before birth? They just mated 2 days ago but I'm freaking out here.
