Now for males, I'm not sure if the like them at a minimum weight or not for going in the ring.
I have heard show people say they will not bring a dog into the ring that has more than 2 or 3 faults. All dogs, even champions, have faults when compared to the breed standard. You can even bring a Yorkie into the ring that is larger than 7 lbs, and if they are not too much over and they are otherwise a great example compared to the standard, they could potentially be championed. | wait so the purpose of shows is to find a dog to breed with? |
