Oh it took some time. I used to have to wrap her pretty much like a newborn baby to keep her from moving. She would put up a fight but now all I have to do is tell her to laydown and have treats in her sight and she's good to go. Every so often she'll want to play and bite at the comb when I'm trying to get her topknot on so I always have her blanket close just incase. You gotta show them who's the boss and allways praise afterwards.
