It is always best to go to your vet or a reproductive specialist for their assessment on a breeder. I have seen 4# females do fine, 6# females have problems and the other way around. Personally, I prefer a female breeder larger than 4# but that is my personal opinion. As long as you seek counsel from the experts before breeding any male or female large or small that is most important. Not every dog is a breeder. |
