Congratulations on joining all of us other Yorkie lovers on YT & on your good luck to find such a gorgeous little sweetheart. I too adopted my little Milo 3 months ago from a local rescue & he is the sweetest baby you can imagine---no trouble at all except he is not really interested in eating or drinking. We're working on that. We don't know who got luckier---him or us. Like your BF, my DH also wanted a bigger dog, but once Milo was in his lap it was a different story.
If you don't know much about Yorkies, and I didn't, you can learn sooo much here. There are wonderful, helpful people here always ready to give you an honest, intelligent answer to your problems or questions. Please learn as much as you can about the breed---different dog foods, habits, etc. Also, please don't ever put a collar on your little boy b/c Yorkies are prone to collapsed tracheas, etc.
