I also use Trifexis but you have to understand the life cycle of fleas and the fact that they lay thousands of eggs. So even if you kill the adult fleas, a week or two later, the eggs start hatching and you have baby fleas. After you treat your dog (whatever your vet suggests you use) and treat the house (again with what your vet suggests), make sure you vacuum every room in the house, under the furniture, along the baseboards and the furniture where the dog may sit/lay. Then make sure you wash all bedding and blankets that the pup uses. This will help eliminate the eggs and baby fleas. Good luck!
