I personally would have them done separately, but I am a bit overprotective. Zoey might take a little longer than a puppy to recover from her spay, but if you do blood work before her spay, I'm sure she's going to be fine. I understand why you are worried; I never got used to anesthesia for my pups, but they always did well, even Ashley when she was sixteen.
