I'm getting Zoey spayed on July 1st. I figured since her rabies shot is due on July 8th, it would be easier to do the shot and spaying at the same time..is this a bad idea?? If so, I will call and have her rabies shot before the spaying is done. She was initially scheduled to have her rabies shot this coming monday, but the vet on the phone said they could just do both on the same. Also, I'm very nervous about the whole spaying surgery. She'll have to be kept over night. I have to take her in between 7am-8am and I can pick her up the next day between 9am-6pm. She is 5yrs old, also...so I guess her age is what's also making me nervous, since she's a little older.
