The gift exchange is optional. No one has to sign up. if you dont want to spend the money, dont sign up. Those who don't have the money this time, often sit out. Those with multiple dogs rotate dogs. I do know that some people sign up and don't fulfill their end of the bargain, and that's wrong, but putting a cap on someone's GENEROSITY??? That's completely wrong. | I couldn't agree more - this is exactly how I feel 100%.
