When yorkies "break coat" does it change a little at a time and in what area? I know the head color begins to change pretty early. I have noticed this on Tatiana when I brought her home at 12 weeks.
Teeka is 11 months and black as the day I brought her home. Tatiana is 6 months, tomorrow. In the last 2 weeks, I have noticed on her back by her shoulder, it is turning a slate gray. It is just on her shoulder area that is turning. Is this how they break coat? I thought I would see the change at the roots first.
I have never had a yorkie that has changed her coat color.....Tameka stayed black all her life and Teeka is very black. So Tatiana color change has me curious and excited!
