I feel your pain - mine have some pollen issues as well, one worse than the other. I too have been to Derms, and they were simply amazing! I'm surprised your Derm didn't suggest the meds beyond Tem-p - what about steroids, Atopica, skin testing and shots...?

The bottom line is always this, imo: if the dog has year round (or close to) allergies, then something like Atopica should be tried. If it's just seasonal, then you try Tem-P, steroids, or OTCs (which I doubt would work for you).

My Marcel is on Atopica, and it changed his life! At the worst times of year, he'd wake up at 1am to chew his paws. He doesn't do that anymore.

Get your kiddo on a fish oil/omega and on some probiotics too, btw. What are you feeding him?
