I have a 13 week old yorkie that I took to the vet for a well check but came back that she had a level 4 heart murmur. I went for a second opinion the next day and that vet confirmed it so they sent us to a Cardiologist for a ultrasound and she does have PDA and is scheduled for surgery June 28th. I can't imagine not getting it fixed! They said if its not fixed she may live a year but I just can't bare to see her suffer with congestive heart failure and breathing problems. Soooo the first visit to the cardiologist was 500.00 I had to get her shots before surgery which was 130.00 and surgery will be 2200.00! The breeder actually sent me my money back which will help but still going to be costly! |
