I do use the flea comb every night to get out any gunk if there is any. Also to comb out the fur that might be lumped up near her eye ducts. I try to keep the hair short there.

I noticed that Zoey usually tears up (like she's about to cry) when she's tired usually... I usually just wipe it away with my hands but I think I will try out the water you suggested. Maybe I should just incorporate the water to the daily grooming.
