Cinders slept through the night. She was definitely in pain. Every time I moved (she laid on my lap) or she moved, she whined. The pain medicine they gave her didn't wear off until this morning.
She walked to go pee on her pad, and sort of ran back to me. Her eyes seem clear this morning too, not drugged looking. No poo yet, but she didn't eat much yesterday.
She did drink some water on her own last night, but she won't eat. I'm force feeding her small meals, and she seems ok doing that. (knock wood)
They said she was a trooper, and she really did well for her size (2.7 lbs). She met a teapot while in post OP, and they sniffed at each others noses before I took her home. We go back at 9 today to have the surgical wraps removed, and just to be looked over by the vet. They really want to keep their eyes on her. In the special instructions of her post OP papers they wrote- WE LOVE HER!
The WORST part was the first 2 hrs. she was home. SHE SHUNNED ME! She gave everyone else tiny kisses, but when I'd put my face near hers, she deliberately turned away!

And she seemed to be telling on me- lots of whining to my family after kissing them. They all said, "Yep, she's mad at you!". After she had a nap, and some food, I did get my usual face cleansing kisses! I was so happy!
