Something else...I talked to my vet and they did not prescribe antibiotics for Princess Sophie after her spay. I was concerned because every surgery I have had I was given antibiotics after. I was told that because the operation was done in a sterile environment and with the equipment they used, there was no need for antibiotics after this surgery unless the area became infected due to some factor at home. So far, no infection at all. I am very impressed. I don't know for certain but for some reason I don't think the surgery was done all by hand. I will have to ask about this when she goes back to get the 3 little stitches removed.

We used onesies for about four days after surgery (1 new clean one each day) and she hasn't needed one since. Leaving her stitches alone. The site looks great!!
