I tried the compressed air with Buster but he was so afraid of the sound he ran from me with his tail between his legs and hid behind Jack and would not come out until I set the can down. It made me sad to see him so frightened of me that I put the can away. It definitely stopped him from barking, so for dogs who don't react so fearfully it really gets their attention.
