Ive been using a can of compressed air sense I first read this thread. The two poodles already knew that they werent supposed to bark so they have it. The chi will run to the den and bark from there instead,,little chicken that he is. Mina our yorkie will back away,look me straight in the eye and bark again. I actually followed her around the house the other day,she barked I sprayed,three or four times. She finally got it and walked off grumbling. There is less barking when DH or DD come home from work,but Mina is a piece of work. We will see how well this does or does not work come Sunday when 25 people arrive. Its kinda weird spraying the can when guests arrive,but they already think that I am a crazy dog lady with Mina's clothes and bows so I guess it doesnt matter. |
