No not for me. It usually helps me find my keys in my purse
Plus it is in a case and you have to slide the top inorder to use it so there is not accidental fire in your purse. Trust me that's bad. My dad had bought my mom and I one that had a flip top type safety top, well something in my purse mashed it...and well lets say my words were colorful. So look for the one where you have to slide the tab over to use, it takes a second and even when scared you can do it.
