Huey had his annual checkup and vaccinations this am. Knees look good, no sign of LP. Heartworm and intestinal worm checks are negative. Gonna have to put him in the teapot club since he is now 8.6 lbs
. Got 3 year parvo, 3 year rabies, lepto and bordetella- he has had all of these at the same time 3 years ago when he was much smaller, so I'm not worried about reactions- got 6 months of Trifexis ($135.33)
and got him a Home Again chip ($50) all for a grand total of $360.89. I don't think that was too bad. They also gave him a complimentary dose of anti inflammatory pain med for the chip insertion. Just glad he passed all his exams with a clean bill of health and glad I finally got him chipped. Asked about dental and the vet said his teeth look so good, she doesn't recommend getting one for at least another year.
