I was in Italy on 9/11/2001. I got stuck there for over 3 weeks because there were no incoming flights back to NYC & the whole airline system got backed up. Fortunately, I was a guest at Il Palaggio in Tuscany when it happened. Because of that whole experience, I'd have to say that Il Palaggio is definitely one of my favorite places.
