There are Yorkie rescues in your region. Someone on this thread is a member of one of them and offered to help you. You might want to look into that. There are many Yorkies that have had to be re-homed for various reasons. You won't find many Yorkies in your area shelter because many shelters will call a rescue as soon as they get a purebred dog in. The rescue will send someone to pick up the dog as soon as they can. A rescue can help the dogs with health issues and they are also much better at finding the right home for each individual dog. You may have to get on a waiting list but I really think it would take just as long to find a reputable breeder and get on a waiting list.

I'm sorry to hear Brandy died. That is really heartbreaking.
