I think that was expensive. For nothing majorly wrong at least. I find vet care to be outrageous in my area. What bothers me is, they charged you for 2 visits because you had 2 dogs. I've never seen a vet do that, even around here they don't do that. I think an annual visit with vacs, wormer, blood work, fecal test for my 2 dogs is about $450 here. I thought that was nuts! I started getting vacs done at a clinic and saved well over $100.
Its the dentals that kill me! They start at $500 with no work done, just cleaning. If they need to pull teeth or other things, then it goes up from there. It can actually wind up costing as much as $1200 for 1 dental.
