Today I was inspecting my puppy Stella's ears and noticed some dry black gunk in it. I got some of it out, she didn't cry or act like she was in pain, just annoyed with me instead lol. There was a smell to it and kind of resembles dirt. She doesn't really scratch her ears, just once in a while. Could this be an infection? Or is this normal wax build up in yorkies? She has stand up ears if it makes a difference.
