Office visits are about $50.00... but again for a sick pup I always have the blood work done, often xrays and then meds and follow ups. Each illness starts at $500.00
OP... If you really look at the meds you purchased and the extra test that is not so bad.
To be fair it seams vet expenses are very much influenced by the cost of living of the area.
