Mia is also 7 months...almost 8! But she does get jealous when my boyfriend and I are hugging or sitting on the couch. She will bark and try to get in the middle of us. However, when she jumps on us I immediately say "down" in a neutral voice and she gets down. If she's barking at us, I ignore her completely until she stops (usually takes a minute) As for the walking...Mia did that for a couple of days and I was like oh heck no! I wouldn't have HER walking me. So whenever she would try to go a different way or stop and refuse to walk I would say "walk" in a neutral voice and keep walking without paying much attention to her. Treats will also be helpful but I think they would distract Mia on walks. She has gotten much better! Just keep trying and don't give up. My sisters dog is horrible on walks and I refuse to let my dog end up like that!
