People breeding for their own reasons sure have gotten this wonderful breed into a lot of trouble and routinely passed along a host of heartbreaking genetic problems for the little dogs to have to live or die with. I wish people would breed for just a single reason and no other: To improve the Yorkshire Terrier breed. If they can't do that, why not keep your dogs' genes to themselves? I wonder how many breeders selling dogs on YT directly or indirectly actually have widespread health testing on all of their breeding dogs in order to rule out passing on many physical problems and medical conditions?
