I am sorry I don't remember your first name. But if I may, I will call you Lori.
Lori, we are passionate folks here, especially about the health and welfare, and the protection of our breed and "yours" the Yorkshire Terrier.
It is commendable of you to keep in touch with your puppy buyers, and to insure you have buyers for your future litters.
But there is so very much more, to breeding responsibly. And yes we all make mistakes, as you appeared to do by advertising dogs for sale on a yard sale.
If you knew us better, you would know how much that fact shook us to the core.
I have been unable to locate your dogs for any testing on the canine health information site. Are you sure you actually did screen for genetic diseases? And post the results?
There are here a multitude of threads on what health tests should be done prior to breeding, and they are far and above beyond what a regular check up with your vet is.
I do hope you at least stick around to read a whole lot of information about the YT. The heartache of many who get sick dogs from back yard breeders, puppymills, and pet stores.
Understand how the health of the YT is suffering from indiscriminate breeding practices, not to mention the look, the temperament of a well bred YT.
I am a show breeder, and I make no apologies for that. I have spent many years of research, of time and devotion to the breeds I love. My dogs are all dual registered with the AKC in the USA, and the Canadian Kennel Club in Canada; (CKC).
Maybe your dogs are healthy, maybe your breeding pair are excellent examples of the breed; I don't know. Do you know? Have you had them evaluated by a very experienced Yorkie Breeder? Have you had the few genetic tests out there done on your breeding pair, and screened for all the other health problems with Yorkies?
I will now say publicly there should be only good representatives of the breed being bred, that have passed stringent health and genetic screenings. And this is after they have been evaluated by breed experts.
If you would like to post several pictures of your breeding pair, in stack position; front rear right left side, plus moving videos of your pair, we could evaluate their conformation/structure and give you a bit of a clue as to their worthiness to be bred.
