Daddy has been dead now almost half of my life but in so many ways, he's still as real in my memories as he was in my life. He lived large and saw that we all did, too, but better than that, made me feel so important, gifted me with the idea I could do anything I wanted. My sister and brother also say he was their biggest fan. He believed in each of his kids and would go the last mile to make us happy. I still miss him and every Father's Day still remember those treasure hunts we used to send him on to find his Father's Day presents from us and still have the pictures we took of him searching in all those odd places. We laughed a lot in our house. I miss you, Daddy. Happy Father's Day.
