 Bladder surgery/Recovery ?'s
I noticed on Fri night that Bodie was uncomfortable trying to pee. We're off to the vet to find he has several small bladder stones, too small to be felt by our vet but seen on ultrasound. He is scheduled for surgery on Mon. (They feel his penis is too small to try to pass the stones.)
I have read several threads/links regarding stones and the good outcomes but haven't seen anything that mentions the day to day recovery. What can I expect once he comes home?
I asked lots of questions regarding the actual surgery but when I'm trying to be a big girl and not cry it's hard to remember everything. I will have a talk with our vet again before surgery but I'm just wondering what the recovery it like from the patient's standpoint.
