Default Less eating during summer

Hey just wondering as I can't find if this question has been asked before in the forum throught the search option,

But do your yorkies eat less during summer. BEI now eats royal canin. Usually he will just finish up to 7/8 to 8/8 (8/8 is around 85gr) per day- without mixed with any other food (depending on how much activity he does) as he is 5 kg. However, for the last three days he just eats 6/8 at most and even he's very lazy and slow to finish them. He usually will finish them close to midnight.

Is it normal this behaviour during summer as in Italy now it starts to be always 30 degrees (celcius), I don't really know in farenheit. Would he get less nutrition if he cuts his portion this way?

I also wonder if it's the effect of anti-Filariasis (philariasis) tablet that I gave. I use cardoteck (not sure if it's also available in US). But I've read online that it's common that cats and dogs eat less during summer. Is it also the same for yorkies?

Thanks in advance
