Poor baby. Glad you got him to the vet and got the paw looked at and treated. He probably licked the offending article out, perhaps a thorn or sting, and it just left the infection. It is so hard to see what is going on in between their toes. My boy would not me near it when he had the nail problem! Milo will be fine now when the antibiotics get working. The lesion probably still hurts a bit and that is why he is still going at it.
