Just like my kids, I'm not over sanitizing my furs' existence. Sam adores his bully and will chew for hours at a time, and he's not even an aggressive chewer. In 3 months, he's only managed to gnaw down about an inch of it. He's a picky eater, so extra calories are definitely the least of my concerns.
