For the first month at least they need to stay on what the breeder is feeding them. There are good brands of dog food. Raw is not good for puppies because there systems are not ready for it and it can make them sick. Home cooking is ok but you need to talk to a vet nutritionist because not doing a balanced for dogs recipe and not using supplements can do more damage to your dog then you think.
