Yup, probiotics can definitely help and it can be an allergy. Also, as said, it could be an injury, a bug bite, a hot spot....
Definitely is uncomfortable and itching if Milo is licking. A vet needs to look at it asap to get the right diagnosis and treat. Don't wait too late..it's almost the weekend.
