Luckily the lifespan of a Berger de Picard is 12-13 years! I couldn't do a dog with a short life span either. Too sad for me!

Sooooo.... there are like 7 breeders in the US that are AKC approved. I checked out each of their sites, and only 1 or 2 are updated for 2013, the rest have no updates since 2010 or 2011.

A puppy is around $2000 and I'd have to have it shipped, which would be another $500+ I think.

Its not going to happen for a LONG time, if EVER! But .... its my job now to research them, get to know what to expect from the breed and get ready because someday when the time is right, I believe I'll have an opportunity to own one!
