I love an irish wolfhound, but like a great dane, there is no way I would get a dog who's expected life is only 7-8 years. I want a dog that I can hope will live as many years as possible. Even my 100lb rescue lab mutt lived 13 years. That Berger Picard is pretty and has hair like an IW, but is much more stoutly built, I think. Still see why you were interested.
