Huey is a piggie, but not for his 2 meals of < 1/4 cup of kibble, which he will eat steadily although still not quickly if I stand and watch, but will go untouched, sometimes until the next meal if he gets what he wants...TREATS!!! It doesn't matter what kind of treat it is. If it comes out of the cupboard or the fridge or freezer, he is all over it. Green beans, carrots, cornflakes from his kong toy, cheerios, and of course, the always prized cheese!!! He will eat his kibble faster if I put it in his kong, too. Don't leave a plate of anything too close to the edge of the coffee table...he ate a whole plate of cheese that he got off the table...there had to be at least 2 or 3 ounces left when he got hold of it. Thank goodness, he never had any problems from it.
