My pup will chew on anything. from clothes, to tiny bits of paper to even the carpet. Thankfully he's slowed it on most of these.
His favorite toys are squeakers and plush ones that sound like they are filled with crinkly paper or the one you put a plastic bottle inside. Oh and the kong rubber toys, they have some you can stuff with treats too. Also flossie/bully sticks.
Main thing is just to stick with correcting the behavior and give hime one of his toys to play with instead.
