Same here! When I took Nilla in to get her shots, the vet mentioned that Nilla's eye was especially pink (which she added would be from allergies), and to give her children's Benadryl (she implied the liquid because I vaguely remember 'spoon'). I Googled that just today! xD Wanted to make sure it wasn't going to lead to problems down the road, and check suggested dosages. Couldn't remember what dosage she told me -- my mind was apparently mush when I took her into the clinic ... I wouldn't
imagine it would be more than a teaspoon, but I could be wrong.
