There may be times in the future you'll want her to dry quicker than the time is takes to air dry, or you might want to dry her off if she's been in the rain or the winter snow.
I let ZoE run around after her bath, after I've towel dried her. She likes to get her zoomies out for a bit. Then I brush her & dry her.
Start with just a minute or two of blow drying and then praise her & tell her she's a good girl. Build up slowly, so she gets used to the dryer. Also, always keep one of your own hands under the air from the dryer, whether your brushing or just running your finger through her hair, so you feel the temperature of the dryer at all times. |
Okay I just feel so bad because she literally runs the opposite way of the blow dryer! She will let me blow dry her if I'm holding her in the air with one hand but she definitely won't sit still
