Leave her plenty of toys and things to play with and have someone check on her if you are going to be all day or take her to daycare or board her and she'll do fine. Just don't feel bad when a dog who is not fully housebroken and not fully confined makes a mistake - it happens and all you can do is expect it for a while yet. In time, a well-housetrained dog will become clean in the house. It really does happen. |
I didn't think it would be this hard on her. I had a dog when I was younger and she couldnt have cared less if we were home or not. She doesn't play with toys unless your throwing them and even then she doesn't always want to. She really is potty trained, this was just new when I let her have a whole room instead of the large crate. She actually did great in the room too, at first..
