My goodness you do have your hands full with 3 little kids and a puppy! I would think that at 11 weeks, it is too long to leave your puppy alone for that long. I would suggest that you plan on taking him with you. You probably don't want your puppy roaming your parents house with very large dogs but if you bring your pup's pen and gear (yes it's like packing for another child and hopefully his crate area has a cover so the bigger dogs can't get to him while you're gone) he should be safe when you aren't there. I've traveled with our yorkie puppy and it is a big deal to pack all that stuff that puppies need but you will have more peace of mind with him with you than him being alone for so long and sad.
