Any changes in activity level? Sometimes if we miss our walks because of weather, Max has a little bit harder time going. I would also make sure she is getting enough water. Dehydration can cause constipation. Max suffered one really bad episode of constipation when he was a pup and the canned pumpkin helped, along with a walk and a warm body wash.
If it continues, the balls, definitely consult the vet about diet. Best wishes to your little one.
